PHOTO: BGE Crew Repairs Gas Line on Ritchie Highway

A faulty gas line is being repaired at a busy intersection in Arnold.

There are just a few more days to wait before safety cones are brought up and the road is patched back to normal.

If you've traveled along Governor Ritchie Highway over the past week, you've probably noticed the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. (BGE) crewmen. They've been working diligently over the past few nights to repair a gas line at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Arnold Road.

A turning lane into the Arnold Station shopping center has been diverted by safety cones as the crew works on the line deep underground. Traffic is being guided by cones to the shopping center.

A BGE employee said Tuesday night that they were just finishing up, and everything should be back to normal in a day or two.
