Here are just a few things to do in town now that the weather has warmed.

After a long, dreary winter, the clouds have finally parted and the sun is shining down on the Broadneck peninsula.

The high today is in the 70s, and the warm weather has created some new opportunities for outdoor activities around town.

  • The Point Crab House & Grille has opened its garage bay doors. Happy hour starts at 3 p.m. So go enjoy some outdoor dining with your friends and neighbors.
  • Cherry blossoms are starting to appear across the region. I visited Washington DC to see the blossoms up close, but they're also here in Broadneck.
  • The walking trail aroundBroadneck Park is always a great way to stay in touch with nature, and it's particularly amenable now that you don't have to wear sweats.
  • A variety of yard sales are scheduled for the weekend. Just glance at any major intersection in Broadneck to see the signs. 
  • This weekend marks Opening Day for Broadneck Baseball/Softball
