Town Hall Meeting Offers Opportunity to Discuss Rezoning

Learn more about the comprehensive rezoning process for Anne Arundel County and the specific rezoning applications for the Broadneck peninsula.

Before the Anne Arundel County Council continues with the comprehensive rezoning process for District 5, residents may attend a town hall meeting next Tuesday to learn more about how the proposed changes could impact the Broadneck peninsula.

The meeting will take place Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Broadneck High School auditorium and is sponsored by the Broadneck Council of Communities, the Arnold Preservation Council and the Growth Action Network. A and drew a large crowd of concerned residents.

Event organizers encourage all Broadneck area residents—Arnold, St. Margaret’s, Magothy River, Cape St. Claire and others—to be involved in this process and speak out on requested zoning changes in their neighborhoods.
