UPDATE: 2 Wrecks in 1 Hour on College Parkway Send 3 to Hospital

Two victims, a 75-year-old male and a 27-year-old female, were flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

Updated (11:30 a.m.)—A second accident, involving an overturned vehicle, occurred at College Parkway and Bay Dale Drive at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, a fire official said.

The victim of the wreck was transported with minor injuries to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department Division Chief Keith Swindle. The wreck occurred less than an hour after the incident at Bellerive Drive, and less than half a mile away.

Two adults were hospitalized after their vehicles collided early Wednesday morning on Bellerive Drive and College Parkway in Arnold, Swindle said.

Swindle said the incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. in Arnold, and involved two vehicles.

A 75-year-old male suffered injuries described as serious and life-threatening. A second victim, a 27-year-old female, suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, Swindle said.

Both patients were flown by helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
