Magothy River Middle School Honors Chorus

The Magothy River Honor's Chorus was invited to sing at the Cherry Blossom Festival parade and is raising money for transportation, etc.

Ms. Amanda Allwang is the new choral teacher at Magothy.  She is a young, vibrant woman who has the kids very interested in singing and participating.  The school has both chorus as a class, but also has two groups, both Honors and Women's chorus by audition.  Ms. Allwang is also directing the musical "Aladdin", which will be performed in May.

The kids recently sang at local schools and Severna Park Sunrise Retirement.  They will participating in the county competition next month, as well as several kids are hoping to audition and participate in the summer music camp at NorthBay.

Many of the parents are very excited about the choral program and what Ms. Allwang is bring to the school.
