This is a special 3-day, ½-day camp for older camper
Full Day: 9-4pm
Half Day: 9am-1pm or noon-4pm
Single Days are available on a limited basis.
Summer Camp Rates for ages 6-11 (before discounts):
Full Day: $200
Half Day: $140
Summer Camp Rate for the August 3-day camp for ages 11-14: $95
Earlier drop-off and later pick-up times are available at any additional cost.
Each camp will include intensive practice in kung fu as well as crafts,
Chinese Lion Dance, music, tumbling, yoga and group games such as tag, dodge
ball and more. Kids will have fun while getting into great shape and learning
new skills.
Beginners with no experience in kung fu or martial arts will learn basic
techniques and forms, while students with previous experience will have the
opportunity to improve their skills. Tumbling will include basic balance skills
such as headstands and handstands as well as working on rolls, cartwheels, and
flips.
In addition to lots of physical activity (martial arts as well as numerous
races, games, and group activities that kids love) campers participate in other
fun and enriching activities such as origami, Chinese calligraphy, science,
music and more.
Shifu Billy Greer, owner of Jing Ying Institute, is the main instructor along
with his wife, Nancy Greer. Additional teachers include the talented and
knowledgeable Wendy Ng, who has a background in science and art.
