Red Door Coffeehouse Reunion

The Red Door Coffeehouse was started by Asbury UMC minister, Rev. Bruce Hathorne and Ed Sparks as a monthly event open to the church membership and surrounding community. Bruce was recovering from surgery when we held the first Red Door in October 1993, and sadly passed away before the one in November. After Bruce’s passing, Ed recruited friend and music partner, Patrick Raymond, to help him run the event. With the church’s support the duo decided to continue the event as long as there was interest. The original Red Door had a ten year run, missing only one month when it fell on Good Friday! Now, after more than ten years away, we are thrilled to announce that for one special night the Red Door is open.
