The fire department will be hosting an open house event on Saturday, Sept. 30 and is inviting the community to meet firefighters and Sparky the Fire Dog.
There will be activities for all ages, including music by DJ Dave, and a bounce room for kids.

A flier for the event says attendees can have a good time and "learn some life-saving skills."
The open house event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30 from noon to 4 p.m.
