The owner has a tragic anger management problem. One is wise to be wary.

The food here is average to decent, and when pinched for time, my family and I have purchased takeout on a few occasions. In each case I was made to linger for lengths of time well beyond what I had been promised by the owner. On this occasion - and on a severe time crunch - I ordered in plenty of time, was fed the standard "fifteen-to-twenty minutes" line, and left myself a healthy fifteen minute surplus to accommodate them. Twenty minutes AFTER that - and now with no time to spare - I indicated that I could wait no longer and asked for whatever they had ready to go. The owner said, "ten more minutes....only ten more minutes!" No part of the order had yet been finished. I signed resignedly, expressed calm regret, turned to leave, and was subjected to a slew of furious profanities. His female (employee/co-owner/wife?) leapt from the back to restrain him, and I exited as quickly as possible, with no food and even less time to spare.

Not sure what else to add, apart from the basic insight that a crucial part of running a successful business is the capacity to deliver service credibly and in a reasonably timely way. I offered a pretty generous pillow of accommodation, and the guy flattened it. Oh....and not hollering vulgarities at customers who've bent over to patronize the place.

Thank God for the free market. Another mediocre Chinese take-out place is a few doors down, and though the food isn't the greatest, the place coughs it up briskly.
