Each year the Kent Narrows Racing Association makes a donation to a local charity from the proceeds of the weekend's event. Chesterwye Foundation was chosen this year. According to their website, www.chesterwye.com, Chesterwye was founded in 1967 by a group of concerned citizens interested in aiding and providing services to children with developmental disabilities. Later, as the children grew older and as services were needed in the county, the focus of support was directed towards adults with developmental disabilities. Currently, Chesterwye provides a variety of services for over 70 disabled adults.

Gates open at 10 a.m. both days. Adults are $7 and kids under 12 are free. There will be plenty of food available for purchase including roast beef sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, fried clams and much more. As usual, there will be plenty of boats and vendors on site.
