Lights on the Bay Opens This Weekend

There's something magical about holiday lights and their twinkling reflection on the water driving through .

The annual Lights on the Bay, sponsored by Anne Arundel Medical Center, attracts people from all over the region to the Broadneck peninsula. The light show, which runs 5 to 10 p.m. nightly, opens on Saturday at the park and runs through Jan. 1, 2012.

Many local families go back year after year to see their favorite light displays and admire new additions. What is your favorite: the big red teddy bear, the midshipmen, Santa or the gingerbread man who leaps over your vehicle? Tell us in the comments.
