A spray-painted message along the walls reads, "Thank You, Cape!

A family along Cape St. Claire painted a message of gratitude along the makeshift walls of their house after the storm demolished their home.

A tree fell on George and Michelle Young's home on Cape St. Claire Road during the heavy winds on June 29. The home is now boarded up, with an "unsafe building" message taped to the front door.

The family has since moved to a temporary location while they sort out the home's future, according to The Capital.
