Obituary for Jean Wisniewski South

Jean Wisniewski South, 69, a resident of Annapolis, died on December 19, 2011, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Jean was born February 9, 1942 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and also lived in Pasadena, and Annapolis. She graduated from Seton High School in Baltimore, Anne Arundel Community College, and attended University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Jean worked as a government analyst, paralegal, school bus driver, and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Davidsonville Dance club and Goddard Dance Club.

Jean enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, dancing, gardening, reading, and playing suduko.

She was preceded in death by her late parents, Chester and Genevieve Wisniewski and her late brother, Chester Wisniewski.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Larry South of Annapolis; daughter, Katherine South of Alexandria, VA; son, Joseph South (Keryl Cosenzo) of Bel Air; two granddaughters, Mia and Amelia South, both of Bel Air; and two brothers, Joseph Wisniewski of Baltimore and Thomas Wisniewski (Patricia) of Salisbury.

Family and friends may visit on Thurs., Dec. 22 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Fri., Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403.
