CFDCDancers vs. Cancer - iDance4aCure Marathon

Sat, Nov 16 2013, 10:05 PM EDT

Creative Force Dance Center, along with 11 other dance studios nationwide, held their inaugural Dancers vs. Cancer marathon to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

The students began dancing at 6 p.m. on Saturday night and have no plans to stop before 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The studio's owner, Tammy DePascal, is no stranger to pediatric cancer. Her daughter had a cancerous tumor removed at the age of 10. DePascal's daughter is now healthy and was among the dancers in the event.

The dance also honored Anne Arundel County resident Joey Sudo, who lost his battle with pediatric cancer last year.
