Arnold Man Asleep in Car Arrested for Drug Possession
Police arrested an Arnold man after police found crack and marijuana in his vehicle.
Anne Arundel County police arrested a man from Arnold when officers said they found crack cocaine and marijuana after finding him asleep in a running vehicle.
Shortly before 2 a.m. early Thursday, officers checked a vehicle on the 7700 block of Spencer Road in Glen Burnie. The vehicle was running and occupied. After determining the vehicle was not from the neighborhood, officers searched the vehicle.
Police seized 20 grams of crack cocaine and seven grams of marijuana, with a street value of more than $2,000 along with $598 in cash. Police determined the drugs were packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
Officers arrested Jerome Shelton Johnson, 39, and charged him with two counts of drug possession and two counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute.
