A Baltimore man sought by Anne Arundel County Police for allegedly sexually abusing a toddler left in his care was arrested Tuesday night, April 8.
Police received a report March 21 that a child left in the care of Darrius Eric Carr, 20, was sexually abused over the course of several days. Based on evidence recovered during the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Carr, who has no fixed address, but is known to frequent the Baltimore area.
Police said Wednesday that Carr was arrested without incident by the Harford County Sheriff’s Department. No information is available as to why he was in Harford County.
Carr was charged with sex abuse of a minor, third- and fourth-degree sex offenses, second-degree assault, and production and possession of child pornography.
The identity and age of the victim is not being released.
