Police Surround Suspected Armed Intruder Barricaded at Arnold Home
An intruder with a gun has barricaded himself in a home on Shore Acres Drive, police said.
Several police cars surrounded a home on Shore Acres Drive in Arnold, where an intruder is believed to be armed with a gun, police said.
Anne Arundel County Police spokesman T.J. Smith said negotiations are ongoing as the man is barricaded in the home. The incident began at about 2:30 p.m.
"We have a barricaded person in a house. Details surrounding it are unclear, but officers have the area blocked off while negotiators attempt to resolve the situation," Smith said.
Police urge nearby residents to stay indoors until the incident is resolved.
