College Drive Wreck Sends One to Hospital

The accident occurred across from Anne Arundel Community College at around 11:30 a.m.

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of College Drive and College Parkway in Arnold on Thursday morning sent one person to Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment, a fire official said.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision Thursday at about 11:30 a.m. on College Drive, according to Battalion Chief Steve Thompson.

A male was driving a car and leaving College Drive when a truck hit his vehicle while traveling down College Parkway. The driver of the car was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment, Thompson said.

The driver of the car suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, Thompson said.
