Man Robs Guests at Broadneck’s Comfort Inn

Police say three Ohio women were followed and robbed at gunpoint in their room.

Three senior citizens were followed to their room at the Comfort Inn on Old Mill Bottom Road in Annapolis Monday evening and robbed at gunpoint before the man fled the scene, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The armed robbery occurred around 8:15 p.m. Monday evening, when the three women from Ohio—ages 67, 64 and 65—said they were entering their hotel room when a man forced his way into their room, showed a handgun and removed an undisclosed amount of money and personal items from the women, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene in what witnesses described as a dark blue sedan with Washington, DC, license plates. Police searched the area with a K-9 unit, but as of Tuesday morning, the man had not been located and the investigation is ongoing.
