Police Investigate Body Found on Stevensville Shoreline

The body may be related to an unattended vehicle found parked at the peak of the Bay Bridge in March, authorities said.

Authorities said they believe a body that was found on the shoreline of Stevensville early Thursday morning could be related to a person who allegedly jumped from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge weeks ago.

The unidentified body was found at a waterfront residence on Irene Way in Bay City, Stevensville at 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies and the Maryland Transportation Authority Police are investigating the incident, as it may be related to an unattended vehicle found parked at the peak of the Bay Bridge on March 13, according to MdTA spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Green.
