Update: Lanes Cleared After Wreck on Bay Bridge
Emergency officials opened all lanes to traffic shortly after the wreck
A two-vehicle wreck caused traffic delays on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tuesday morning.
One person was transported by helicopter and two were transported by vehicle to area hospitals with nonlifethreatening injuries, said Maryland State Police Sgt. Pamela Thorn.
One of the bridge's two eastbound lanes was closed due to the incident, with one vehicle still blocking the lane, according to the Maryland State Police. The wreck occurred at about 11 a.m., and by noon, the lanes were all back open.
