Broadneck Students Tackle Fashion Show Challenges

Local students participate in a "Not So Ordinary" fashion show and help Anne Arundel County promote recycling.

Some talented Broadneck High School designers recently took second place and honorable mention at a very unusual fashion show sponsored by the county.

The students joined peers from Indian Creek Upper School and Annapolis High School in the first-ever RMO (RecycleMoreOften) Runway Contest sponsored by the Department of Public Works Waste Management Services Recycling Division.

The participants were challenged to create formal clothing designs made out of recyclable materials for a prom-theme fashion show at Quiet Waters Park.
