2 BHS Bands Play in Battle of the Bands this Weekend

Broadneck High School student-led bands Keyboard Comrade and Epic 4 Nothing will play live during the Saturday show.

The 15th annual Anne Arundel County Battle of the Bands competition is set to kick off Saturday night at Maryland Hall. 

The Capital Gazette recently provided profiles on each of the 12 bands performing, of which 11 will be in competition for the best of show. The winner of the competition will get studio time to record one of their songs professionally in Studio A of Wright Way Studios.

Broadneck High School senior Ingvar Jacobson, 18, is the one-man electronic band in Keyboard Comrade, which will perform an exhibition on Saturday before the big show, but will not compete.

The BHS student-led band Epic 4 Nothing is competing, and is composed of Marston Conti, 18, Alex Flynn, 16, Cooper Flynn, 17, Andrew Vasilchenko, 18.

  • Crash 57, of Southern High School
  • Five Seconds to Freedom, of Archbishop Spalding High School
