AACC Named a Top Military-Friendly School for 4th Year

The college has a Military and Veteran Resource Center established in 2010 as an area for the military and veteran students to come together and connect with one another.

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) was again recognized for supporting members of the military, and was named among the top 15 percent of colleges across the country for being a Military Friendly School in 2012.

In a review of AACC featured on Military Friendly Schools, the college was credited for having flexible online schedules for both veterans and those actively engaged in the military.

"I think it's a wonderful thing the school's doing," Snure said. "The people in the military today are not really acknowledged by most of the people in the country because it's such a small amount of people serving in Afghanistan and our life goes on."
