AACC Nets $15K from Bank of America Grant Funding

The donation comes from The Bank of America Charitable Foundation and is intended to help connect the unemployed with opportunities.

Anne Arundel Community College was the recipient of $15,000 in grants from a Bank of America donation as part of several sent to area organizations.

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation announced $231,000 in grants to 14 nonprofits in the Baltimore area to, "help connect the unemployed, underemployed, veterans, youth and those with disabilities to training and employment opportunities," according to a press release.

Of that amount, AACC will receive $15,000.

Other area organizations set to receive funds from the grants are  the BioTechnical Institute, Bon Secours of Maryland, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, Caroline Center, Center for Urban Families, Civic Works, The Community College of Baltimore County, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Maryland Food Bank and Maryland New Directions.
