AACC Students Win Awards for Architecture and Interior Design

The Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Architects honors seven winning designs from Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) students.

Seven (AACC) students won awards in a competition sponsored by the American Institute of Architects Chesapeake Bay Chapter.

“This year the chapter gave out more awards than any previous year, a fact that the judges said was due to the tremendous quality of the projects submitted. We are extremely proud of our students,” said Michael D. Ryan, chair of the AACC architecture and interior design department, in a release.

Ryan added that participation in award programs helps promote students for increased job, transfer and scholarship opportunities.
