Does your business need to brush up on sales and management techniques? A new seminar being unveiled at in October will focus on how to give businesses the edge on sales.
Advanced Sales and Management Training coursework will be made available through the community college's Center for Workforce Solutions.
Details on the course will be offered by AACC's in an upcoming executive briefing, titled Sales Force Effectiveness, at the community college's Arundel Mills location at 9 a.m. Oct. 2.
The goal of the training is to help businesses maximize revenue and profitability, build powerful relationships with customers and grow businesses by protecting and leveraging a company’s customer base, according to a press release.
“Nearly 25 percent of all jobs currently advertised on Monster.com are for positions in sales,” Laura E. Weidner, dean of workforce development at AACC, said in the release. “Having strong sales skills can not only help people land jobs, but also gives employers an edge by having a well-trained sales staff. Even if a person is not in a sales position, most of us need sales skills to be successful.”
Growth Development Associates (GDA) President Eric Richardson will be available on both Oct. 2 and 3 to meet with companies to identify how AACC and the GDA curriculum can help their sales force.
