With two conference contests remaining, the Pioneers can wrap up the title and lock up the top seed for the Region 20 tournament with a win over Howard Community College Thursday night.

AACC women’s lacrosse is 7-2 overall and undefeated in conference play at 5-0. The Pioneers' latest victory was a 16-5 toppling of CCBC Catonsville on Wednesday, April 10.

Kayla Hertz scored five goals for AACC and added two assists. Meghenn Jackson scored three times and led the team with five assists. Ashlynn Parks added a pair of goals while six others contributed a goal.

Brittany Biddinger tallied six saves in the game.

The Howard (6-3, 3-2 conference) contest Thursday is the final home game of the Pioneers' 2013 season. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start. AACC bested Howard, 16-10, in early March to open their season.
