Arnold Elementary's New Principal Reviews The Year So Far

The following message was written by 's newest principal, , who is finishing up her second week as head of the school. Kauffman took over for longtime principal Rosemary Biggart, who retired at the end of the last school year. 

Welcome back Arnold Elementary Families! I hope your summer was enjoyable and relaxing. We are off to a great start!

It was wonderful to meet so many of you at the Principal’s Meet and Greet and the Kindergarten Back to School Night. Thank you for your hospitality and warm welcome. As the new principal of Arnold Elementary I am committed to continue the excellence established by Mrs. Biggart over the past several years.  Academic excellence and student and staff wellness are a priority for me as a school leader. 

A couple more staff members joined us at Arnold this school year. We would like to welcome Heather Pfaff as one of our 5th-grade teachers, Emily Forbes-Carstens  as one of our special education teachers, and Elizabeth Rogers as one of our special education teachers, Dawn Pattarini as one of our special education paraprofessionals, and Estelle Cooley as our part-time art teacher. Kim Lucado is now one of our kindergarten teachers. We hope you can join all of us at Back to School Night, Tuesday, September 11th at 6:30pm (Grades 1-5).
