Back-to-School Guide: Broadneck Middle Schools

School starts back for Anne Arundel County middle schools on Aug. 28. Are you ready yet?

There are still a few weeks left of summer, but now is the time to start planning ahead for when classes begin again. All Broadneck schools will resume by the end of August. 

Middle school students just starting out in the sixth-grade will arrive at school a day earlier, on Aug. 27. But classes for all grades begin the following day.

Schools have begun distributing information on supplies that students will need when they return to classes. Click on the following schools for links to their specific school supply lists for the 2012-2013 school year. These can be downloaded and printed for convenience.

• Severn River Middle School

For Magothy River Middle School (MRMS), the supply lists have been divided by grade level:

• MRMS Sixth Grade
• MRMS Seventh Grade
• MRMS Eighth Grade

Don't forget that  is August 12-18. 

And here is a schedule of Back-to-School Nights for Broadneck-area middle schools. These will give parents a chance to meet their child's teachers and learn about the lessons they'll learn this school year.
