BHS' Adam Greene Awarded High School Heisman

Adam Greene broke school and county records in October 2011 with a 55-yard field goal, and a year later reached yet another milestone.

Broadneck High School senior Adam Greene has shattered state and county records, and earned a 2012 Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.

Greene, who has played for the BHS Bruins since freshman year, broke school and county records in October 2011 with a 55-yard field goal. A year later, he reached another milestone after kicking 26 field goals. The previous BHS record was 23 field goals, and the state record was 24, according to Broadneck Athletics' website.

The Wendy’s High School Heisman is a national award. Greene was chosen as one of two statewide winners from among 45,000 applicants. The full list of winners can be seen on the awards website.
