BHS Boys Place Second in Regional Swim Championship

The boys placed second and girls placed fifth in the regional championship meet this weekend.

The Broadneck High School boys swim team tallied 292 points to place second at the 4A/3A East Region Swim Championships this past weekend. The girls team placed fifth with 240 points.

Severna Park High School won both titles with the boys scoring 330 points and the girls, 296.

There were many excellent swims during the regional meet with a number of the Broadneck swimmers qualifying for the state championship being held Saturday at the University of Maryland College Park aquatics center.

The team will have 12 individual entries in the state meet while all six relays will also compete.
