This weekend, the girls runners will compete at the state championship at Bull Run in Baltimore County.

Broadneck High School's girls cross country team has had a fantastic year, and hopes to continue its victory run in the state tournament this weekend.

On Oct. 25, Bruins runners dominated the county championship, ranking first with all seven runners in the top 13 performers in the competition. The Severna Park Voice has more coverage and pictures of this meet.

Led by team coach Brianna Kelly, a week later the team seized the regional title, with all seven runners placing in the top 14, according to The Capital Gazette.
