Broadneck High in Top 20 in Washington Post Challenge Rankings

Broadneck High School was ranked 19th in Maryland.

Broadneck High School was among the top schools in a Washington Post ranking of challenging schools in Maryland. 

The Post's ranking of the nation's most challenging high schools evaluated schools on the number of high-level tests (such as Advanced Placement or International Baccalaurate) given to students each year. They were also scored based on how many students passed at least one college-level test. 

In its ranking of schools in Maryland, Broadneck High School ranked 19th.

The 2013 rankings also featured high marks for South River (6th), Severna Park (13th) and Annapolis (17th).
