Broadneck's Band Plays for Pork at Noodles

Noodles in Annapolis is giving the band $200 for helping promote a new dish.

Broadneck High School's band will put on a special show outside Noodles & Company at the Westfield Annapolis Mall on Monday night.

The promotional event is being organized by Noodles to highlight a new menu item—pork.

"For showing up, Noodles is giving them $200, however, for every pork entree that is sold during this time, an additional dollar will be donated to the band," according to Rachel Chilson, spokesperson for the company.

The band will be fresh from a weekend competition at the high school, where over a dozen high school bands from all over the state will compete during the annual Bands by the Bay US Bands marching tournament on Saturday.

The band is scheduled to play outside the mall from 5-7 p.m. on Monday.
