County Athletes Kick Off Track and Field Preseason
Broadneck girls and boys led the pack in several events, including the boys and girls 4x800 meter relay.
Track and field athletes across Anne Arundel County went head-to-head Monday night, with northern schools pitted against southern schools in a preseason meet.
Girls in the south and boys in the north rose to the top of the scoring charts after the competition.
"Athletes from all over the county demonstrated the skills and abilities that the preseason brings and some are already in midseason form," said Skip Lee, a Broadneck track and field enthusiast who attended.

Broadneck High's girls and boys led the pack in several events, including the 4x800 meter relay and the boys and girls 500 and 800 meter dashes.
Broadneck's top performers included Aislinn Probst, Madeline Becker, William Parker, Chandler Costello, Sophia Cologer and William Hankins.
