Elementary Schools in Broadneck Offer Bullying Prevention Surveys

Anne Arundel County Public Schools encourages parents, students and staff to complete surveys and consider results from 2010.

While elementary students aren't old enough to be on Facebook to sign an anti-bullying pledge, they still face many pressures in school. Next month when parents attend conferences with teachers, they will be asked to fill out a bullying prevention survey for Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS).

AACPS provides the results of the annual bullying prevention survey. (A PDF of each school's results is attached to this article.) Results vary for the elementary schools in the Broadneck feeder system: one school didn't have any students complete the survey whereas two schools heard from more than 200 students.

Survey respondents for in 2010 included 11 parents and two students.
