“Arlington National Cemetery – Shrine to America’s Heroes” Lecture and Trip from AACC

This course (HST 307-901) splits the lecture and trip.  The presentation will be Thurs., Nov.10 and the tour will be Nov. 12. 

AACC instructor, George Sweger, will give the history of the cemetery, notable veterans and dignitaries interred there, information about the changing of the guard and the Kennedy gravesite.

The tour on Nov. 12 will begin by meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Arnold campus to travel by college van.  Participants are asked to bring a bagged lunch, wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather.  The van is expected to return at approximately 4 p.m.
