Repairs at Cape Elementary Total $2M

Roofing and boiler room work at the Cape St. Claire school is scheduled to be completed before the start of the school year, later this month.

Roofing and boiler room repairs at Cape St. Claire Elementary are underway at the school, and together cost $2 million, a school official said.

A roof repair and resurfacing project priced at $1.2 million and boiler room work priced at $852,000 are both active at the elementary school, according to school system spokesman Bob Mosier.

The scheduled work began last month, and both tasks are slated to be completed by the start of the school year later this month, Mosier said.
