4th Place Finish for Centrowitz

Matthew Centrowitz had an amazing Olympic debut, finishing in fourth place in the men's 1,500 meter finals.

Matthew Centrowitz of Arnold was just four hundredths of a second away from a bronze medal in the finals for men's 1,500-meter race Tuesday.

Centrowitz kept pace with the five foremost runners, until the final lap, when all the runners spread out. Leonel Manzano, another runner from the United States, sped ahead to seize second and will take a silver medal for his 3:34.79 run.

Centrowitz leaped ahead of several other runners to take fourth place, just a hair behind Morocco's Abdalaati Iguider.
