Broadneck High School's girls lacrosse team triumphed Wednesday night with a 14-13 win over South River High School.
The win earned Broadneck the Class 3A/4A regional trophy, and the Lady Bruins will play Catonsville High School on Saturday in the state semifinals with the winner advancing to the title game.
The Washington Post reported that Broadneck's goalie Natalee Easthom stopped a shot in the final moments of the game, allowing her team to hold on for the victory.
Patch spoke with Easthom in April about her plans after high school. She'll be playing lacrosse at Northwestern University in the fall.
Congratulations to all the Lady Bruins, and good luck against Catonsville on Saturday.
