Broadneck Sailing Team Places Third in National Championship

Students from Broadneck High competed against the best in high school sailing and came back with a third-place finish.

A dozen Broadneck High School students were among the best high school sailing teams in the nation competing at the ISSA High School Team Racing Championship, and the team returned with a third place title.

With 10 wins and seven losses during the race for the Toby Baker Trophy, a series of games that took place between Saturday and Sunday at the Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa, FL, the Broadneck team finished third.

Because of the way the final awards were distributed, the top four teams came home with a gold placement. Congratulations to everyone who competed!
