Support for 'CentroNation' Seen Around Town

Arnold's track star Matthew Centrowitz is set to show his skills on the Olympic stage Friday at 3:25 p.m.

It's hard to drive around town and not spot a show of support for "CentroNation."

Matthew Centrowitz, 22, of Arnold is set to run in preliminaries for the 1,500 meter Friday in London at 3:25 p.m. The results of his first run will be posted here as soon as it's made available.

A banner of support for Centrowitz can be seen along Ritchie Highway's median, across from , in Arnold for a few weeks before being taken down, and dozens of signs supporting "CentroNation" are all over town.

Supporters of Centrowitz on Twitter have recently taken to using the hashtag #CentroNation.

For more on Centrowitz, check the Broadneck Patch's Local Olympians Guide, or read through his official bio on the USA Track and Field website.
