Upcoming Events Important to Broadneck Sports

Although spring break meant many teams were taking a well-deserved rest, sports organizations continue to busily support the cause.

This coming week is a busy one for local sports organizations in the Broadneck area.

All Broadneck Baseball & Softball Club parents, friends and supporters are invited to their Second Annual BBSC Bull and Oyster Roast this Saturday, April 30, at the Severna Park Elks Lodge. This major fundraising event features beef, oysters, soda and adult beverages, music, dancing, games, prizes and more. Cost is $40 for a single ticket and $70 for two.

The Club is also sponsoring a “Fast Pitch” Pitching and Catching Clinic for girls in 10U softball and above on Saturday.  This clinic will offer individual instruction for pitching and catching and is taught by Renee Ferguson of Sandlot. Two sessions will be held on Saturday at Arnold Park Field 1.
