PHOTOS: Kids Climb Aboard Big Trucks for Fundraiser

More than 100 familes turned out for the Touch a Truck event at Broadneck Park over the weekend.

A group of hundreds turned out for a fundraiser last weekend involving kids and trucks.

The Touch a Truck fundraiser, sponsored by the  and , raised more than $1,500 for the park's playground and collected about 25 bags of food for .

Event organizer Kara McGuirk-Allison said more than 100 families turned out for the event at . She posted a series of photos on the group's Facebook page and also sent a selection to Patch.

The Friends of Broadneck Park have hosted a series of fundraisers this year, including , in the hopes of replacing the park's playground equipment.
