The winner of both National and Maryland Blue Ribbons, Broadneck Elementary School is located in the Bay Hills area of Arnold. In the summer of 2010, a new addition was added to accommodate its tremendous growth over the recent years. Activities abound at the school, including a book fair, talent show and fifth grade play. The school's active Green Club brings environmental awareness to the entire school community. The school was honored by the Maryland State Department of Education for its immense support of the Kids Care Campaign for Haiti Relief. The feeder schools for Broadneck Elementary are Magothy River Middle School and Broadneck High.
