Being a local of the Broadneck Peninsula for almost twenty years, I have become quite familiar with its restaurants and attractions. I have been coming to Broadneck Grill since I was a child and have never doubted the delectable nature of the food (order the steak fajitas, they are delicious). However in recent years, Broadneck Grill's service has become rather disappointing...waiting ten to fifteen minutes to get a waiter/waitress (I apologize but that is just ridiculous), some servers forget your orders, and the worst of it being that several of the waiters/waitresses are inattentive.
One factor, besides the food, that I do like is the comfortable atmosphere of the place. However, a downside to this (that I have come to notice) is how several families who come here can never control their children. Every single time I come here to eat, I always have to sit next to a family with a loud and obnoxious child (or children for that matter). I know this is a family oriented restaurant but seriously, it is despicable how these families don't have any respect for other patrons.
Overall, I believe Broadneck Grill deserves the rating that I gave it. If the service was better, I would have considered giving them a higher score.

A favorite restaurant of locals, Broadneck Grill is located in the Cape St. Claire Shopping Center and specializes in contemporary American and Mexican cuisines, from crab cakes to fajitas, in a family-friendly atmosphere. It provides breakfast (Saturday and Sunday only), lunch, dinner and a kids menu in its dining area. Adjacent to the dining area is a bar called the Broadneck Cantina. Menu items and beverages alike can be ordered in the dining room and bar. Weekly specials are available Monday through Thursday.

I sas so excited about a new spot to enjoy with friends and family and was sadly disappointed. Slow service, overpriced drinks, wrong orders and to top it off no compensation or apology for our experience. The manager did not seem too concerned about pleasing our table and we will not be returning. Too bad, it would have been nice to have a local place you could depend on for a good time. The Boradneck Grill and Cantina is not it!
I have also lived on the Peninsula for over twenty years. I would love to say Broadneck Grill's food and staff are good, but they aren't. I have tried the place numerous times, hoping for good food and service mainly because of the location. I have also heard other people like the food and I just don't get it.... I do agree that even if it is a family restaurant, the parents should have their children behave. My family will not give this place another chance! There are too many other better places to eat, just a bit longer drive.
