That damn casino is more trouble than it's worth

Run that by us again?? On what planet would this be the casino's fault?

Horrible. I support self defense, but did he have to shoot the guy 3 times? If he would have justRead More shot him once in the leg, I think it would have stopped him. This sounds like an over aggressive cop. He was the one who cut the guy off which caused the road rage in the first place.

Not defending the cop, but why did Harvey stop his vehicle and get out and approach, no contact wasRead More made with vehicles, he should of just kept going. You, me and every person has cut someone off at some point in our driving years, whether it was by accident or purpose, you and everyone has done it. I know that intersection, it's a weird left turn and sometimes you can accidentally cut someone off which enrages the other person, Harvey should of ignored it moved on. Approaching a vehicle after something like that happens means you are looking for trouble, the cop should of kept going also. 2 egos who wanted fight after a Stupid game of Cat and Mouse and ends with one Dying. Ridiculous

The Lawyers are the ones that will get 40% of that settlement. The Hospitals premiums will go up andRead More that cost will be absorbed by everyone who has insurance.. There was no harm to anyone, and I understand no ones face was seen in any of the pictures. So if you are in the middle class and see your health insurance premiums go up once again thank the trial lawyers. Funny how they can get away with it in a country where the laws are written by lawyers.... Kind of like "Hershey's" writing the dietary requirements, really doesn't make sense. .

Hello Katherine Glaser -- are you like ten years old or something? My religious affiliation isn'tRead More the issue. I'm a taxpayer and I already pay my fair share. We already have enough freeloaders in this country and don't need any more. I really don't want any of these kids staying in this country and want them sent back. I don't want to pay for they're heath care or food or place to live. Maybe you could fund all of that if they stay......
Steven Spiegel July 22, 2014 at 09:04 am
Katherine Maybe we should all pack up and leave for what our for what our ancestors did to thoseRead More people (Not) . We fought for what we have and that may be sad but its true . Its now called the United States of America !!! If anyone is so horrified what there ancestors did and think that we should allow everyone to live here also maybe you should find out were your familys country of origin is and move back there !!!!! This is our country know . And its called survival of the fittest we have acted this way since man was on the earth !!!!! If this country is going to survive we have to forget about these people get them out of here pick up the pieces when they are gone and move on !!!!

This situation is very sad! While I completely side with the victim and his family that the blink isRead More a strong indicator he identified correct suspect, I find it very difficult to interfere with someone's rights. Fingers crossed that additional evidence in the case can support guilt so that the defendant gets his sentence fairly.

I just emailed the ACO unit in this county with my "feelings" on returning this poor pupRead More to such an irresponsible person. This is terrible.
R.S July 19, 2014 at 08:09 am
Returning the dog to the owner is as bad as releasing the mom on bail who left both a dog and a 7yoRead More child in a hot car while she went shopping. I called the police last year when I spotted a poor dog $tuck in a locked up window shut truck. The owner was in Target. I stayed and snapped pics, then posted it on facebook as documentation. So many people looked and did nothing. It took 15 min for cops to show but it felt like hours. I wonder if its legal for bystanders to bust out windows of vehicles if we see an animal in distress. I wanted to and would have if the doggie looked distressed..
Rochelle Drucker July 20, 2014 at 09:42 am
If we see children or pets in hot cars we need to report it.

Chuck. You are correct. What many do not realize is that the Romans reserved crucifixion forRead More political offenses. They gave not one hoot as to one's religious beliefs so long as they did not disrespect the Roman Gods... This because such disrespect would incur divine vengeance upon the Roman State.
Nadja Adolf July 22, 2014 at 04:31 pm
Uhyup. Which is why they finally rounded up all of the Jews and deported them to other places in theRead More Empire. Every time the Romans attempted to add statues of their deities in the Jewish temple the Jews rioted. Roman practice was to add their own deities to existing temples; they had never encountered the sort of reaction they received in Judea.

I don't understand this gay thing !! I say if you want to sin that's on the sinner him or herself !!Read More The only thing I know is there was a story in the Bible that plagued the gays for there actions . Its up to the individual who is the gay person to decide how one wants to live there life. I have practiced tolerance and patients with everyone that I don't agree with , I also cant stand greedy people but as far as Gay people go as long as they don't force themselves on me and try to force me to accept and live there life style then I am ok but you let another man try to touch me in a gay manner and it will be the last thing he does !!!!!

Crimes against children are so heinous that accused pedophiles like this teen-aged squad leader,Read More Sylvain Kustyan, Jerry Sandusky, etc. must be apprehended before they have years to continue to destroy young lives. Sandusky is now safely behind bars. But unfortunately, Kustyan, who has been formally charged with two counts each of 1st Degree Sodomy and Sexual Abuse of a ten-year-old little boy, fled to avoid imminent arrest. Kustyan, formerly of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Hermin/ Mazingarbe, France, as an English teacher, has led numerous groups of schoolchildren on trips to the US, the UK and Ireland.. Pedophiles condemn their victims to a lifetime of emotional and psychological trauma and often permanent physical ailments as well. Since the average pedophile has 300 different victims in their lifetime and since the recidivism rate among pedophiles is virtually 100% and since there is no effective treatment and no known cure they must be stopped ASAP!

I have taught my kids since they were very young that cops are, for the most part.... bad! I haveRead More always warned them to be careful when near them and never talk to them unless it's a must. Cops are trained liars and manipulators. We are a normal upper middle class family with 2 parents 2 kids 2 dogs and a single family suburban home by the way(before I'm judged).

When will we all learn the basics? You have the right to remain silent. State so AND DO IT! If youRead More are detained, (ask if this is the case. If the answer is no, then ask if you are free to leave. If that answer to this question is no, then you are in fact being detained.), you have the right to an attorney, and to have that attorney present during ANY and ALL questioning. ASK FOR AN ATTORNEY!

My daughter also goes to Camp Letts and they told my wife she was not one of the affected kids whenRead More she actually was. My daughter was at Johns Hopkins for two hours before they called my wife to tell her she was there. The person at Camp letts told my wife that my daughter was released from the hospital and was on her way back to camp. that was not the case. My wife and I had to go to the hospital to get her. Quick thinking by the staff, however there is no excuse for the lack of communication.
Ginny Parsons Lee July 9, 2014 at 07:31 pm
wow! that's terrible...now I am worried all over again
Mary Vecellio July 12, 2014 at 06:48 am
It seems to me that the Staff at Camp Letts acted very quickly to keep the children safe. The lackRead More of communication was probably due to panic on the part of hospital personnel, etc. I can understand the frustration and anxiety of the parents but miscommunication does happen when there is an emergency and people panic, even though they have a calm exterior. I've always heard a lot of good things about Camp Letts and I know people who have sent their children there. This is an unfortunate situation, to be sure, but at least the children were taken care of and transported to areas where they could be quickly treated, if necessary. I'm sure Camp Letts will live up to its good reputation and fix what needs to be fixed so no one is in danger in the future.

One Big Day July 9, 2014 at 08:30 am
Don't worry. What's about to happen is that the parents of the thief are going to sue theRead More mall/security officers for chasing him and causing his death and be rewarded some ridiculous amount of millions of dollars then penalize security officers overall by not allowing them to chase thieves so that crime can go unpunished and in this case rewarded. Either way, this went to far and is wrong. What I don't get is why, if the kid was knocked out inRead More the first couple seconds, why they had to hold him down and near the end you can see his legs in the air, if he was knocked out they would be on the ground. Also looking at his body language I don't think he threw any Molotov cocktails but when he says he didn't throw rocks he touched his arm, his right arm and since he is right handed this is as psychology would lend to the idea that he is lying, Not to mention the fact that the reported didn't ask him if he threw rocks he said it out of no where... even if he did throw rocks, the police should not be able to do that to him and they need to be punished. I would like to know the full story though, Like lets see the video from the beginning, not half way through.....
