Home of the Belvedere Bobcats, the school was awarded a Green School honor by the Maryland Assn. for Environmental and Outdoor Education. A featured new addition to the grounds is the Bobcat Courtyard Habitat Garden. A partnership has been established between Belvedere and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
The school also provides the area's Early Childhood Intervention program for pre-school age children with special needs. Annual events at the school include a Santa's Workshop, science fair, and spring book fair. Its feeder schools are Severn River Middle School and Broadneck High. Because of its proximity to that school, the church developed an after care program for students of both the elementary school and its middle school Severn River.
The congregation is very active with local missions, offering an annual winter relief week for homeless men, as well as partnerships with the Salvation Army and Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
