The church also offers a monthly book club, a care group for mothers of special needs children, an annual women's retreat and youth and children's activities like Vacation Bible School.</p>

The school's active Green Club brings environmental awareness to the entire school community. The school was honored by the Maryland State Department of Education for its immense support of the Kids Care Campaign for Haiti Relief. The feeder schools for Broadneck Elementary are Magothy River Middle School and Broadneck High.
